We are delighted to announce that the Meon Valley Circuit is seeking to appoint a Pioneer Connexion Missioner this autumn, 2017. The Circuit is seeking a dynamic and committed individual to lead in mission and outreach projects – To develop links with those associated with the churches and the surrounding community, encourage missional activities within individual churches and the Circuit as a whole.
Meon Valley Circuit comprises five rural churches in Hampshire who have recently experienced growth, building on a Circuit heritage of being: missional, evangelical and spiritual.
The post will include working in a chaplaincy
role with the Circuit Football Teams, building on the positive relationship we already have; Taking an active role within Elemental at the Wickham Festival and other events; To encourage and enable the churches in outreach and mission projects; Sharing some of the pastoral work of the Circuit with the Superintendent Minister.
Hours and pay: This is a full time job, working an average of 40 hours per week with a salary of £22,000 – £25,000.
